Looking at life with a sense of irony and silliness is important. On the key ring of life philosophies, it’s one key to sustained happiness.
I decided a few months ago that when I die, I’m going to write some sort of punchline on my gravestone. A morbid thought, yes, and likely very offensive but it’ll be a refreshing change of pace for all those grave-goers who tire from seeing the same standard procedure of name, place of birth and role. Plus, it’s just a ridiculous context for a joke.
I’ve been playing around with this concept as a comic format. Here’s what I’ve been toying around with. (Please pardon me if you find the second one offensive. It was just too absurd. I couldn’t resist posting it.)
